General: Job experience in English-, French-, Spanish- and Portuguese speaking countries. Job experience in SE Africa, W-Africa, C-America, New-Zealand, Belarus. Experience in project management, project evaluation. (International development projects).
Started by means of a PION course “Cobol Mainframe Developer” in 1997 a second career as IT-professional. After a short while as COBOL-II programmer with the AEGON FN LCE team, attached to the HRM Staff of AEGON as system and application manager. Main tasks were the maintenance of the used databases (Access, Progress, and Essbase) and making reports for the Management concerning personnel and sick-leave. This assignment was till April 2002. After that some ad-hoc assignments with AEGON and SFS for the building of MS-Access applications.

Tasks: The assignment concerned the upgrading (programming and testing) of an existing application. My specific task was the upgrading of a part of the user interface to the changed business rules and database structure.

My specific task were: - making of the Functional and Technical design together with the client. - programming and building of the front-end application in VB 6.0 - programming of a backend application for the validation of data - design databases (Access 95) - Writing of functional and technical documentation. - Making of the mail merge file in Word. - testing - implementation - maintenance

Tasks: A independent assignment, where, in consultancy with the client a number of (action)queries were made and executed for The delivering of client data to functional manager of the “Premiespaarloon” system (SAMS). Some queries were built-in in a MS Access application with VBA for later (repeated) execution.

Design and building of modules (cubes) for OLAP of salary, personnel and sick leave data. Design and building of interfaces in MS Access for The data input from ARBO2000 & PeopleSoft to the Essbase database.
The OLAP cubes can be consulted via IP/TCP with a viewer of Temtec by every company branch of AEGON. Maintenance of The software, building of The views, and simple training on the spot, support and security was part of my responsibility.

Tasks: Keeping Up-to-date of the intranet site and the Internet Vacancy site of AEGON/PN. My specific tasks were the manual editing of text and illustrations op the web pages, the coding of java scripts, and the upload of new web pages and maintenance of the URL's.

Tasks: An independent assignment for the Maintenance and management of The application ARBO2000 system of the internal Medical Staff of AEGON, and Functional manager of AEVRIS (AEGON sick leave registration and information system). ARBO2000 is a sick leave registration system for “ARBO” services.
Sick- and recover reporting is done through an intranet application: AEVRIS. The interfaces between AEVRIS, ARBO2000 and PeopleSoft HRMS-system of AEGON were built by me in MS Access and also maintained.
Daily reports from AEVRIS were loaded into in ARBO2000. Weekly personnel data were loaded into ARBO2000. Monthly the Essbase database was refreshed with personnel and company data. Data from ARBO2000 were loaded into Essbase for reporting and statistical manipulations according to the NIA rules (Netherlands Institute of Medical doctors).
